Journey into Coding

Prior to 2022, I had familiarized myself with programming concepts and basic syntax but never really took it seriously to where I could make a full-time career out of it or just add the skillset to my current role.
Because we live in such a data-driven and software-based, I realized that the need for programmers, coders, developers and the like is only going to increase and the industry itself is going to grow exponentially now that the metaverse will be the next revolution of the internet.
I've decided to revamp my career goals and make coding a daily habit and hopefully utilize it in a professional manner. I'm not going to go back to school and get a 4-year degree and spend thousands of dollars when I know I have the discipline and resources to teach myself. While there's nothing wrong with going to school and gaining a degree, I'm very happy to be partaking in the 100 Days of Code challenge and posting my progress on Twitter, where I can meet other developers who are also partaking in the challenge and accomplishing their own goals.

I had never heard of Hashnode until today and decided to make myself an account - with that, my goal here is to log my daily progress and hopefully be of service to new developers and coders who are wanting to learn this valuable skill.
Here's to the next step in my journey and professional career! Thanks for reading!
